Short version: Task Manager stores all your data locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded, shared, or transmitted to any server. We collect no personal information.
1. Information We Collect
Task Manager does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. All data you create within the app — tasks, reminders, categories, priorities — is stored exclusively in a local SQLite database on your device.
2. Data Storage
- All task data is stored locally on your device using SQLite.
- No data is uploaded to external servers.
- No cloud sync is performed.
- No account or registration is required.
- Data persists only on your device. If you uninstall the app or clear app data, all information is permanently deleted.
3. Permissions Used
The app may request the following Android permissions:
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS — Required on Android 13+ to show task reminders and due-date alerts.
- SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM — Used to deliver reminders at the exact time you set.
- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — Allows reminders to be rescheduled after device restart.
- WAKE_LOCK / VIBRATE — Used to wake the device and vibrate when a reminder fires.
- CAMERA (optional) — If you choose to attach photos to tasks. The camera is only accessed when you explicitly initiate a photo attachment. Photos are stored locally and never transmitted.
- READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_MEDIA_IMAGES (optional) — Used only if you choose to attach images from your gallery to tasks.
- INTERNET — Declared for potential future features; not currently used for data transmission.
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE — Used for reliable notification delivery.
4. Third-Party Services
Task Manager does not integrate any analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking SDKs. No data is shared with third parties.
5. Children's Privacy
The app does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Since no data is collected at all, the app is safe for all ages.
6. Data Security
All data resides solely on your device and is subject to your device's own security mechanisms (screen lock, encryption). We cannot access your data because it is never transmitted to us.
7. Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy changes materially, an updated version will be published at this URL and the effective date above will be updated. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
