This Privacy Policy explains how the Diabetes Management mobile application ("the App") handles your information. This App is developed and maintained by isoftx ("we", "us", "our").

1. Information the App Collects and Stores

The App allows you to voluntarily enter and store the following information, which is saved only on your own device:

• Blood glucose readings and related notes
• Medication names, dosages, and schedules
• Meal and nutrition logs
• Physical activity/exercise logs
• Reminders and notification preferences (glucose tests, medication, meals, appointments)
• Basic profile details you choose to enter (e.g., name, date of birth, diabetes type)

2. How Your Data Is Stored

All data you enter is stored locally on your device using secure, encrypted on-device storage. We do not use a backend server, and your data is never automatically uploaded, synced, or transmitted to us or any third party.

• Sensitive health data is stored using encrypted local storage.
• You may optionally protect access to the App using your device's biometric authentication (fingerprint/face unlock). Biometric data itself is handled entirely by your device's operating system and is never accessed, seen, or stored by the App or by us.
• If you export or back up your data (e.g., to share with a doctor), that action is initiated by you, and the resulting file is stored/shared through your device's own share and file system features — not through us.

3. Permissions the App Uses

• Notifications — to remind you about glucose checks, medications, meals, and appointments at times you choose.
• Exact Alarms / Boot Start — so your scheduled reminders continue to work reliably, including after your device restarts.
• Vibration — used for reminder/alert notifications.
• Biometric Authentication — optional, to lock the App using your device's fingerprint or face unlock.

None of these permissions are used to collect, transmit, or share data with us or any third party.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your data with any third party, advertiser, or analytics provider. Since the App does not transmit data off your device, there is no data for us to share.

5. Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time directly within the App, or by uninstalling the App, which removes all locally stored data from your device. Because we never receive a copy of your data, there is nothing stored on our end to separately delete.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and since the App does not collect data on any server, no such data is retained by us.

7. Security

While no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, we use industry-standard encryption for locally stored health data and rely on your device's own security (screen lock, biometrics) as an additional layer of protection.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
